For children entering Grade 5 for the 2026-2027 school year

This study is looking at how reading books helps children to learn about the world and about other people.
Participation takes place over 2 in-lab sessions and includes at home reading activities. Visit 1 is approximately 1.5 hours. Visit 2, scheduled 6 weeks later, is approximately 1 hour. Children choose a prize; parents receive $25 per visit.
