Parking, Maps & Directions

The Child Emotion Research Laboratory is located on the third floor of the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Parking: Please park in stalls outlined in blue and hang a visitor’s permit from rear view mirror (staff will greet you in the lobby with a permit if one was not sent to you).
  • Entrance: Enter building in north tower at main clinics/lobby doors. Turn right to reach lobby information desk.  Staff will greet you in the lobby and lead you to the lab.

Directions

From the east—follow University Avenue through campus and then go off to the right on Campus Drive; stay in the right lane and turn right at the University Bay Drive/Farley Avenue intersection.

From the west—follow University Avenue and turn left at the University Bay Drive/Farley Avenue intersection. This road becomes Highland Avenue. The Waisman Center is at the bottom of the hill on the left, across the street from UW-Children’s Hospital.

PARKING: All visitors should park in stalls outlined in blue and hang a visitor’s permit from their rear view mirror. A parking permit will either be mailed to you in advance of your visit or a staff member will greet you at the entrance with your permit. NOTE: A permit is required every day of the week (including weekends) between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Individuals parked in DOT DIS or UW DIS stalls must display a valid, state-issued disabled permit at all times.
